Indie iOS app — interactive AI courses for the curious
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Limni is an independent, locally-stored iOS app that respects your privacy. We don’t have servers, we don’t track you, and we don’t sell or share anything about you.
Nothing about you, ever.
Limni is a fully on-device app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We don’t have user accounts, we don’t ask for an email address, and we don’t run any analytics or tracking code.
The following data is stored locally on your device only, in iOS’s standard UserDefaults system. It never leaves your phone:
You can erase all of this at any time from the in-app Profile tab → Reset (in debug builds), or by deleting the app.
When you purchase a course, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple’s StoreKit. We never see your payment method or billing information — Apple processes the transaction and returns a verified receipt to the app, which records that the course is unlocked. We rely on Apple’s standard purchase-restoration mechanism for re-syncing across devices via your Apple ID.
For more on Apple’s billing privacy, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We do not use any third-party crash reporting (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.), analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), advertising frameworks, or tracking SDKs. The only network calls the app makes are to Apple’s StoreKit servers for purchase verification and product loading. That’s it.
Limni is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data, including from children under 13.
If we ever change what’s collected (we don’t plan to), the updated policy will be posted at this URL and the “Last updated” date above will change.
Questions about this policy? Email hello@limni.app.
Limni is built by an independent developer. The app is sold through the Apple App Store under the terms of Apple’s standard EULA.
